National World War II Memorial / 04-lincoln Heather Lawver 5/25/2004

This is one of my favorite photos - the lighting worked out just perfectly, I think (although, in the smaller web version, the colors aren't quite as vivid.) The Lincoln Memorial is visible far in the distance, just past the wall of four thousand stars, dedicated to the 400,000 servicemen and women who lost their lives during the war.
