This event was one of my finest ideas, if I do say so myself. One week we gathered all sorts of supplies and built popsicle stick rafts in order to learn the basics of buoyancy design. The next week we went to one of the aircraft hangars that housed the many scale models built by the Army Corps of Engineers. This particular model was of Niagra Falls. The Engineers let us play on their models, race our boats, and have a great big party. They even got wave machines going for us to give us extra speed!
